Snowflower Arc is an archiving utility that supports the creation and expansion of compressed archives. Designed for simplicity, speed and security, it is easy for anyone to use.
Easy to use
You can create and extract archives by dragging and dropping target files and folders. The settings displayed when creating an archive are designed to be minimal, so you can use it with ease.
Support for many archive formats
Snowflower Arc supports a wide range of compression algorithms, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

Security
Snowflower Arc allows you to compress and decompress encrypted files in Zip and 7z formats. Zip and 7z encryption uses high strength encryption (AES-256). When you enter the password for encryption, the password strength is displayed so you can check the security of the password strength.
The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a symmetric key cryptosystem standardized as a new cryptographic standard in the United States. |
Snowflower Arc provides a way to verify the identity of distributed files. It displays the hash value (SHA-256, MD5) of the archive file after the archive is created. The hash value can be used to verify that the file has not been corrupted or tampered with during file distribution.
SHA-256 is defined as part of the “SHA-2” standard, which was devised by the NSA (National Security Agency) and standardized by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) as one of the federal information processing standards in 2001. |
Speed
Snowflower Arc’s decompression process is optimized for the latest processors. Multimedia instructions and multiple cores allow for fast decompression.
